Bacon Cheddar Sliders

Bacon Cheddar Sliders

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • ½ pound well cooked bacon, crumbled
  • ½ cup barbeque sauce
  • 1 cup of cheddar cheese, shredded

Combine bacon, cheddar and sauce in a large bowl and mix well.  Add beef to bowl and mix well.  Shape meat into slider size patties and stack 3 sliders high, separated with wax paper.  Then wrap slider in plastic wrap and place in a zip-lock bag to freeze until ready to use.

No toppings are necessary with these sliders, as all the toppings are already in the burger!

Note:  I bought the Big City Slider Station at a kitchen store, so I do not have to think about the size of my sliders.  I just fill the mold, press down and I have beautifully shaped sliders all the same size.  But if you are doing this by hand you can use a scale or even a quarter or a third of a cup measure to ensure that your burgers are all the same size.  I do not cook my sliders in the mold as is instructed, I only use it to create the burgers.
