Corn Mazes 2014
Corn Mazes are getting more and more popular and are popping up all over the country. They are typically at a farm and staffed with people who can give you help throughout the maze if you need assistance. This makes the maze activity great for family members of all ages.
Most mazes are set up in September and can be visited throughout the month of October. However, you must check the hours of each farm, as some farms only have weekend and holiday hours. While other farms are open daily. A few farms also open their mazes at night for either a flashlight journey or a haunted journey. In the past, my kids were never old enough for a haunted journey but maybe this year could be our year?!?
The details for some of our local farms that we have visited are as follows:
Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, Connecticut is open daily through November 2nd but weekdays are limited to 3-6pm.
Wright Family Farm in Warwick, NY is open every weekend through October 31st and has flashlight night on October 17th
