Peach Jam

This peach jam can be used as jam, as an ice cream topping or added to a variety of recipes to add a peachy flavor to whatever you are baking.

  • 4 cups of peaches, peeled and chopped
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Cook peaches, ½ cup sugar, lemon juice and a pinch of salt over medium heat.  Mash peaches while cooking and continue to cook until the peaches have a jam like consistency, about 15-20 minutes.  Add cinnamon and set aside to cool.

Note:  You can try white or yellow peaches in this recipe and see which you like better.
